EXAMS
EXAM TOUR DATES
The 2010 RAD exams in Scandinavia will
be held between 30th April and 20th June.
Approximate tour dates for the 2010 exam
tour will be:
Norway 30th April - 2nd June, 2010
Sweden 8th
May - 28th May, 2010
Denmark 1st June - 20th June, 2010
Target date for electronic distribution
of results listings: 7th July, 2010
Target date for distribution of
certificates: 15th August, 2010
CLOSING DATE
The closing date for the next RAD exam
tour will be Monday the 22nd February 2010. After this date, no changes can be made to the entry forms.
LATE ENTRIES = SURCHARGE
Late examination entry forms and fees
not only slow down the process of scheduling
examinations, but can also mean that the whole process
has to be restarted. In common with other examining
boards, the Royal Academy of Dance Board of Examinations
will surcharge late entries. All entry forms received
during the first week after the closing date will incur
a 10% surcharge. Entries received in the second week
after the closing date will incur a 20% surcharge. No
entries can be accepted later than two weeks after the
closing date.
6 EXAMINING HOURS
Teachers are reminded that a Graded Exam day is as near 6 examining hours
as possible but not longer than 6 examining hours (excluding one 60 minute and two 15 minute breaks). A "half day"
is maximum three examining hours.
